Proof Auto-lock

  • Gary January 24

Have the proof automatically lock once the deadline has passed. Trying to avoid late changes/requests if I forget to lock the proof.

    Gary,

Thank you for the suggestion. I will add this to our feature request list for consideration and will update you next week on the status of your request.

    I second the motion.
We've been in discussion with Mat and Anthony previously regarding this request. Maybe we can elevate the priority in the queue.

    Smitty,

I'll mention this in our meeting Monday. I think it would be a great improvement. :)

    Thanks!

    Gary and Smitty,

I wanted to let you both know that we did meet regarding your feature request to have proofs Auto-Lock once the deadline has passed. This functionality will be available when we introduce the automated stages functionality this year. Automated stages will allow you to choose the deadlines and routing of your entire proof process when creating the proof instead of having to manage the proof during the process. Please let me know if you have any questions on this.

    Regards,

One mode to show better the diferences on the versions: the same of layer effect "diference" of photoshop, and don't in red. In red, some cases don't will show better. Diference will show "black" for one file without any change, and any diference will be displayed on the screen.
One simple sugestion of implementation: One stamp tool, used by approvers to stamp on every page approved (on case multipages and the aproved pages released to print and don't need reviewed one more time). The page approved, don't will included on the next version One sample image of result: http://centraldecatalogos.info/sample.jpg The button states stay the same.
Now that you have successfully made a non flash version of Proof HQ for the iPhone I was wondering if you had any plans to move away from flash for the main version of Proof HQ...I have no particular problem with flash other than new Macs no longer ship with flash installed
Desktop uploader for Mac does not send email notification of a new proof if the persons role is read only.
I've been noticed when viewing jpgs or pdfs at 100% the proofs are rendering grainy (especially area text as if it was optimized at 70% or so).
